Hat Diaries #1

This is the hat I referred to in the last post.  One of these days I'll post a picture of myself wearing it.

  1. Hi Joyce...Wanted to make a suggestion. I bought my hats from here: http://www.headcovers.com/ they have a HUGE selection and they are a TEXAS company!!
The Classic Baseball cap is especially comfy. As far as losing the hair, I just stood over the trash can and pulled it all out. It was a lot less messy that way AND it was under my terms! Still had some control! I"ll write more later, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Put your head down and keep pushing forward...and keep asking for different anti-nausea meds until you find one that works for YOU. It took 4-5 different scripts until one worked for me.
If you have any questions, I'm ready to answer, and thanks for letting me know that there's a new space-age boob out there!!

  2. Thanks so much for the comments and suggestions, Lael. I will definitely check out the website. I had no idea you had cancer. Was it breast cancer? My best to you and your family!

  3. Thought of you today. . . Josephine and I went to look for Halloween costumes and we came across a ton of vintage hats and new wigs. Did you know you could go as Betty Page, Cruella DeVille, or my favorite, a used-car sales girl? The possibilities are endless!

  4. What does a used-car sales girl's hair look like? I might be interested.

  6. How much do I love that there is a wig specifically for those who want to look like a used car sales girl? A lot.

  7. Joyce, I really don't think you should limit the used car sales girl wig to just Halloween. I really feel like that could be your new look. Just think about it.
